Grand Lodge HQ to Relocate to Springfield
Written by M.W.B. Kevin B. Todd
Monday, 18 June 2012 09:24

CEO HouseAs of June 11, 2012, Grand Master Kevin B. Todd has instructed Grand Secretary C. Michael Watson and the Grand Lodge headquarters Committee to begin the process of relocating the Grand Lodge Headquarters and the contents of the Grand Lodge museum to the campus of the Ohio Masonic Home in Springfield.  This decision was the result of the recommendation of the Grand Lodge Advisory Committee.

The new location of the Grand Lodge Headquarters will be the former CEO’s House, which will undergo some remodeling.  This location will provide ample room for the offices of the Grand Secretary at a savings of nearly $80,000 per year.  Temporary space for the museum collection will be provided in the community room in the Castle.

The possibility of relocating the Grand Lodge Headquarters has been a subject under review for a number of years.
